Our Mission
Proudly locally owned and operated, Holt Lumber Company is dedicated to providing a broad range of kiln-dried Appalachian hardwoods to our customers. Unlike the big chain stores, we focus on local, and we are BIG on helping to drive the local economy.
Our Services
With distributorships from multiple high-production mills in West Virginia, we offer a variety of wood selection. We're also a dealer of Grothouse wood countertops, from Germansville, PA, and we can take care of everything from your Chicago rail-top bar, to your kitchen island tops. If you have something special in mind, all we need is a picture. You show it to us, and we can build it. We understand that acclimating your lumber properly is key. Products in our workshop are conditioned to help prevent movement cracks, shrinking, and expansion. We also have a Delmhorst J2000 moisture meter, which can read up to 16/4 boards, clear to center. Upon request, we'll be happy to check the moisture level for you. Our inventory includes kiln-dried fresh back to EMC (equilibrium moisture content) products, as well as older stock that has been air dried. We also handle fresh orders straight from the kiln. Our inventory is constantly moving, so you can expect a variety of new lumber selections.
